XTree is an easy to use text-mode file manager. It pioneered the use of a GUI-like hierarchy tree, and provides many integrated file viewers. It competed against many other file managers including Gazelle Q-DOS and Norton Commander

This release added support for ZIP files, the Undelete function, and pulldown menus to the GUI. Runs on MS-DOS 3.1 and later or equivalent.
Insert the first disk and run install.com to install the application. From the menu that appears to install Xtree Gold, an option is available to use the second disk to install add-ons to view various files such as from WordPerfect, Lotus 1-2-3, Excel, etc.
