Deskmate is a GUI shell, program environment, and organizational application suite bundled by Tandy with their computers. The first two fully graphical versions were renamed "Personal Deskmate" I and II. Earlier versions were text based.

This is the original Tandy DeskMate published for the first Tandy 1000 computer. It is an integrated office environment and desktop shell, that includes word processing, spreadsheet, database, telecommunications, calendar, and mail functionality.
Unlike later versions of DeskMate, this version is entirely text-mode based.
This software will load and run on IBM PC clone hardware and emulators, but it is designed for use with the Tandy 1000 keyboard layout.
Contains one 360K floppy disk images in raw/Winimage format.
