Timbuktu, from WOS Data Systems and later Farallon Computing, is a remote control and file transfer communications tool that originated on the Macintosh. It was one of the earliest GUI based remote desktop sharing programs. It could be used for user support, system management, or teleworking. There was support for both AppleTalk, and TCP/IP. Windows and Macintosh systems can access each others desktops and exchange files.
This version includes the Shiva PPP dialer and TCP/IP stack.
Note: This software fails to run in some emulators.
